Ignaz B. Bruder 200-year Festival in Waldkirch
By Wolfgang Brommer

Dear MMD's, in 2006 we celebrate here in Waldkirch a special 200-year
festival: in 1806 our Ignaz Blasius Bruder made his first street-organ.
In cooperation with the town of Waldkirch, our Waldkirch Organ
Foundation will prepare several specials during the complete year
of 2006.

Maybe of interest to you, for example, is the handwritten book of
Ignaz (278 pages and 42 drawings) that will for the first time be
printed completely to read in today's typefaces.

Also a unique exhibition will be held here in Waldkirch and in the
Museum Mechanischer Musikinstrumente in Bruchsal: Ignaz B. Bruder
1806 -- 200 years of street-organ building. Dr. Wolfram Metzger of
Schloss Bruchsal makes a special museum catalog.

Several concerts in Waldkirch, on our marketplace and in Elztalmuseum
and our Organhall, will be given to interested people. I will inform
you on the great program in 2006. A very special is the new 20-note
pipe organ of Jaeger & Brommer with dancing figures on top -- like the
first Ignaz organs.

Have a look at the English version of our web site to see the
description of this limited edition 2006: http://www.jaegerbrommer.de/
For any questions please feel free to contact us directly.

With all best wishes from the organbuilder town of Waldkirch
in the Black Forest area,

Wolfgang Brommer, Master Organbuilder
Jaeger & Brommer
