Pouch Leather As Duo-Art Gasket Material
By Bruce Grimes

I use pouch leather because:

    it provides a reliable seal;

    it gives a moment longer to get it in the exact right place (I glue
    the rough side of the leather to the pneumatic first, then the
    smooth, slippery side to the deck);

    there's more space for the next guy to get his knife between the
    pneumatics and the deck;

    AND, that's how the company did it to begin with.

Cardboard, cheese-cloth, paper aren't Aeolian. If I were just after
cheap music, I'd get a talking machine. But I play paper.
