Value Of 1917 Seeburg Model L
By Stephen Kent Goodman

In the 05.06.23 MMD Steve K. asked about the value of a 1917 Seeburg
Model L.

I assume you are referring to the Seeburg "L" (Lilliputian) model. This
model is shown as "Cab." on a 1918 price list reproduced by Bowers on p.
600 of his Encyclopedia. The early style is a 2-door, with goddess
heads on the case and a reciprocating pump with spoked flywheel. Check
the serial number to see if it is consistent with Seeburg's 1917-1918
output.

As to price, I have been informed of a couple of recent sales of Seeburg
L's, needing restoration. They sold in the range of $2500-$3250.
