Take-up Spool Belts For Cooper Roll Frame
By Victor Searle

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I just by accident stumbled on the MMD website. God, how I wish I had
known of it before. I had built five Wurlitzer 125's, one 150, and a
street organ for a company which went bankrupt and left me with a
warehouse full. Then I had a traffic accident, and the owner of my
workshop threw them all onto the bonfire.

I do still have three 125 band organs operating on location, with roll
frames by George and Jill Cooper. However humidity has ruined the belts
which keep the lower roll from spinning too fast on re-roll. Does
anyone know where I can get some belting for this purpose?

Also, I would like to hear from anyone who built an electronic band
organ using my book published by Vestal Press back in the late 1980's,
titled "How To Build An Electronic Band Organ."

I am looking forward to corresponding with interested persons, as I am
in a resthome and lonely.

Thanks,
Vic Searle
