Just a helpful hint from Uncle Jim's kitchen regarding the suggestion of
using Saran Wrap as a pouch material. I don't think I'd go there.
A few years ago I found an elderly box of Saran Wrap, probably ten to
fifteen years old, at the back of a kitchen cupboard. Not long after
that, I needed some for its intended purpose and tried to use the roll.
Once I had managed to peel the end off, it was obvious that it was
fragile, brittle, and dry. Definitely not suitable pouch material and
not the least bit useful for wrapping a sandwich.
Yes, it was the "real stuff."
