I have been attending Dorset for the past 27 years, this will be my 
28th year.

Accommodation: The nearest accommodation to Dorset is Blandford.  You
have to book a year in advance to get any.  You might try Blandford
tourist office or Wimborne tourist office.  Wimborne at this time is
the nearest one (Wimborne is 13 miles from Blandford).

Local transport: There is a free bus service from Blandford to the site;
it runs from about 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and later on the Saturday.

Railways: Salisbury is served from Waterloo; frequent trains there and
back.  Blandford is 22 miles from Salisbury.

Take walking boots with you; it can get muddy if it rains.  Take lots
of money -- you will want to buy lots of things!  If you like organ
music as I do, you will want to buy all the CDs you can lay your hands
on, as some of them are not available in record stores.
