Hello to All: I am here to tell you about a big swap meet and show
for all, the Pioneer Power Swap Meet in Le Sueur, Minnesota, April
22-24, 2005, produced by Le Sueur County Pioneer Power Association.
What does this have to do with mechanical music? Well, several
years ago I bought 15 cobs for a Gem roller organ, later down the road
I spotted a Mermod Freres cylinder music box, and then I found a basket
case 15-1/2" Regina disc box.
At these swap meets you never know what you will find -- there may
be a steam enthusiast or gas tractor nut or gas engines. Bring your
findings that you want to sell or bring your billfold and buy
something, there is something out there for you.
At our big Pioneer Power Show, August 26-28, 2005, is when it all
comes together and we display what we found at the April swap meet,
all restored and then brought to the show. This year our feature
is antique cars, trucks and, oh yes, _band organs_! If you have
a band organ and or small crank organ, please contact me.
Our April "Swap Meet" has been bringing close 1,000 venders each year
from all over the nation. You can find my email address and a good web
site to review at http://www.pioneerpowershow.com/ Simply the best.
See you at the show
