Half Duo-Art Pianola
By Arthur Marino

Hi List, I just finished rebuilding one of the wonderful pianos,
a Weber, made in London, 1930. Neat little helper jack springs on the
whips; plays like a charm. My client elected to have it electrified
in addition to being a foot pumper, the third or fourth one I've done.

Foot pumping really gets you involved with the music and electrically
it sounds very expressive, not the "knock your sox off" dynamics of a
full Duo-Art, but very respectable.

Now I have it all to myself for a week until it gets delivered. Of
course, I'm gonna tweak this and that but mostly I'm gonna enjoy the
music. Isn't that what this crazy profession is all about?!
