There were some 88-note rolls made of Gilbert and Sullivan songs,
but they are not easy to find. I currently have "Pinafore Selections"
and "Mikado Selections" as published by Pianostyle, as well as
"The Mikado - Roll 1" as a "Full Scale Themodist" roll by Aeolian.
Nearly every Gilbert and Sullivan roll I've seen have been in the UK
(perhaps not a surprise). I've seen others for sale, but always in
the UK, and shipping from the UK to the US can be quite expensive.
My number one source for used rolls is eBay. I have found that a good
'search' for piano rolls to be: pian* roll* (pian* will match piano
and pianola, roll* will match roll and rolls.) A search I just did on
"pian* roll* mikado" just produced a match for a pair of rolls (rolls
one and two), Full Scale Themodist. If you are looking for specific
rolls, you can set up an automatic search that will even email you when
a new listing appears matching your criteria.
