Hi All,  I have been looking at a MIDI player for Mac OS X
called Rondo.  It is in beta version, currently 0.85.  It is at

I think it has possibilities and have been in contact with the
author, and have told him about roll scanning and playing and
making suggestions that would be helpful in playing scanned rolls.
He was very interested in the idea of using his program with
mechanical music.  If you try it and have suggestions, please
let him know and hopefully they will be added.
