Just a brief note to let everyone know that my 15th batch of roll
scans in MIDI form is now available. There are 183 titles in this
batch, bringing the total count to 2,408 titles to date, with still
many more to come in the months ahead.
This batch contains some delightful music emerging from a rather
rare array of ragtime, one-step, cakewalk, and fox-trot rolls from
turn of the century.
Special thanks go to Steve Brite, James Kelsey and Alan Turner for
rolls or roll scans they have contributed to this preservation project.
All very much appreciated. Others with roll scanners have contributed
roll scans of their own which will be posted in my next batch, stay
tuned...
These are all MIDI Type 1 files. Tune documentation is now contained
within the file info area of each MIDI file. This data is duplicated
within a spreadsheet listing accompanying the batch. The files and the
companion spreadsheet listing may be accessed by:
