So do you folks have an opinion of the pronunciation of Reproduco?
Is it "Re-pro-du-KO" or "Re-pro-du-SO"?
I have a friend that swears it is SO and I have always heard it KO.
Were there two companies using the two pronunciations?

[ Art Reblitz provided this explanation at
[ http://mmd.foxtail.com/Tech/Reproduco/reproduco1.html :
[
[ The Operators' Piano Company spelled out the correct pronunciation
[ for "Reproduco" in their advertising, as follows (capitalization
[ original): "...even he who has no technical musical skill can with
[ the automatic devices and hand-played rolls REPRODUCE the music of
[ great artists. Hence the name REPRODUCO PLAYER PIPE ORGAN."
[
[ The pronunciation ending with "-KO" is probably from confusion with
[ "Duco", the contraction of "DuPont Company" used as a brand name.
