I am trying to locate a player piano roll for someone who thoroughly
enjoys the nostalgia of listening to rolls being played on my Heintzman
upright. Although it presently suffers from a form of emphysema, which
will be (hopefully) remedied next year, there is one special roll that
she would like to hear, one that was played at her grandfather's home
in the middle 1920's and vividly remembered.
Although I have boxes and boxes full of rolls of that period, the one
desired is not among them. I have no title, manufacturer or type and
only one line of this word roll is remembered. This line or partial
line is '...the old oaken bucket...'. Agreed, not much to go on.
I would be very grateful if there is someone among the MMD readers who
recognizes this line and can help me locate a copy of this roll.
