FS: 1923 Knabe Ampico
By Eliyahu Shahar

It's time to part ways with my Knabe after 16 years. I had the piano
professionally restored, with a hand-rubbed shellac French Polish,
new strings, hammers, complete regulation and voicing.

I rebuilt the Ampico myself and it plays and expresses beautifully,
with unfortunately a slight pump thump, my opinion is that it is low
enough that it would be muffled by a belly cloth (which I haven't yet
installed, but would do for anyone serious).

The major drawback is that it's in Israel; shipping will cost about
$1500 by sea or $3000 by air (your choice). I'll give 50 choice rolls
with the piano. Asking price: $10,000.
