It is time to submit nominations for the AMICA Annual Awards. If
you know of a deserving individual, please make a nomination (include
a brief summary supporting the nomination). Recipients must be AMICA
members. The two awards are:
Leo Ornstein Award: Contribute some way in a literary effort to
further and promote the goals of AMICA, either by contributions to the
AMICA Bulletin or by independent books, articles, etc. Contribution
must have been made during the past two years.
AMICA International Award: Contribute substantially to the promotion
of automatic music and AMICA as viewed technically, musically, archivally
or from the perspective of the general public.
Request that nominations be submitted to me as chairman of the awards
committee no later than December 31, 2004. Please contact me if you
