In yesterdays MMDigest Ron Schmuck wrote about a Wurlitzer Style 50
band organ and Robbie provided a link to the Picture Gallery. The
pictures on that page are not of a Style 50 organ, but a Style 103.
That page of the Gallery includes text by me. I was describing the
Style 50 organ; Hal Davis identified the organ in his pictures as
a Style 50 but it is in fact a Style 103.
The same organ is pictured in Ron Bopp's book "The American Carousel
Organ" on the upper left of the first page of the color section, and
it is correctly identified as a 103. Similar 103s are on page 94.

[ Sorry for the confusion. Hal Davis discovered the error and sent
[ photos of two differently-painted Style 103 organs, plus photos of
[ a Style 50 organ owned (then) by Doyle Lane. The adjacent display
[ card says, "Shipped from the Wurlitzer factory on June 6, 1931, to
[ Ross R. Davis Co., Los Angeles, Calif. Plays 44 note Pianino roll."
[ I'll revise http://mmd.foxtail.com/Pictures/davis_W50.html
