I think it is time for everyone to understand that if you have
something for sale there should always be a price listed, even if you
put something like "$2,000 or best offer". I just ignore any for sale
(FS:) items listed here on MMD without it.
Cost is always the deciding factor with 99% of all sales. If you offer
a piano or anything else in this group, please give as much information
about your item as possible. What age? What brand? Condition? When
restored last? By whom? Plays? Doesn't play?
But most important are the two things that most people seem to forget
or perhaps they are too coy to list: How much? Where is it located?
No one is going to purchase anything without knowing those two things
about your item. It is more likely to sell if we know whether we need
to move it across town or across country or across an ocean. Also, is
the price listed a firm or negotiable price?
