Indeed, the software packages to convert raster data to vector data is
not that expensive, and it's a one-time investment. But the software
I need is a kind of printer driver that will convert the data from the
Midiboek program to data that can be plotted -- or am I wrong?

Wow, this is surely interesting! I do have a laser printer, but it's
fairly new, so I won't risk it; but the idea is really creative!
For the moment, I'll stick with my paper patterns (it's not a major
problem, I was just curious to know if anyone had printed successfully
on cardboard ...).
