Hi to all! I listened to all the fragments of Andrew Barrett's cassette
on the web site, and these are 'my two cents worth':
#2: Gruss an Kiel (Fr. Spohr)
#3: Bummel Petrus (M. Werner Kersten) -- sounds like a Voigt (perhaps
the one that can be heard in the game "Rollercoaster Tycoon", now in
the Netherlands)
#5: Im Zigeunerlager (M. Oscheit) -- Richter or Wellershaus
#9: Annen-Polka (J. Strauss)
#14: Rote Rosen, rote Lippen, roter Wein (W. Zeller)
#15: Banditenstreiche - overture (F. Von Suppe) - 112-key Carl Frei
in Thursford Collection (GB)
#21: Sunflower - foxtrot (L. Eysoldt) -- 39er Ruth ("Double Ruth") at
Utrecht Museum (NL)
#23: Lustige Brueder (Wendlinger(?))
#26: Soldatenleben [Soldiers Life] (Max Schmeling) - 39er Ruth
("Double Ruth") at Utrecht Museum (NL)
#28: Lily the Pink (McGough-McGear)
I'm sorry I can't identify more organs, but at least Andrew now knows
what organ plays his favourite tune!
Some recordings (like tunes 15 and 21) were definitely taken from
existing LPs, other sounds like 'hobby recordings'.
Best wishes from Belgium,
Bjorn Isebaert
