My wife and I are selling our bed and breakfast home/business and are
moving to Scotland around June of next year. We will join up with MMD
again when we get to Scotland and probably will attend the 2005 MBSI
Convention in London.
The house is going on the market in October so I am trying to downsize
my collection. Our local Pacific CAN-AM MBSI group will be holding a
meeting at our house in Ocean Shores, Washington, on October 16 & 17,
2004. We will be putting many of our instruments up for sale. Since
I build instruments, we will be offering many parts and supplies on the
mart table.
I have two instruments I would like to find a new home for:
1. A Hamilton upright reproducing piano, style 286 by Baldwin Piano,
serial no. 108060. This Welte was restored by Carl Kehret in 1998 and
appraised by him in 2002 at $6,500. It comes with piano bench, 70
Welte rolls and 107 regular rolls, many later QRS rolls. I am asking
$3,500 for the Welte, bench with rolls.
2. The other major instrument is an 1896 Aeolian Grand Orchestrelle,
restored by Carl Kehret in 1995 and appraised by him in 2002 at $6,000.
This instrument has a beautiful hand-carved and scrolled front, and
comes with pumper bench and 75 rolls. I am asking $2,000 for the
Aeolian Orchestrelle, bench and rolls.
These items will be available after October 17th but can be spoken for
anytime before then. If interested, contact me at
