D.L. Bullock drew my attention to a Mason & Risch Duo-Art piano. Mason
& Risch is a very well known and quite common brand of piano in Canada.
The business was founded by Thomas Gabriel Mason and Vincent Risch in
1871 in Toronto. I don't think there was a link to the Mason & Hamlin
company.
I have seen several Mason & Risch players, and two were Duo-Art. Perhaps
I am missing D.L.'s point, but I don't see what makes this piano very
rare or a "specialty and not a production model." Am I overlooking
something?
