Music Roll Plays Busker Organ Pipes Directly
By John J. Breen

[ In 040709 MMDigest Phillip Dami asked, "Does someone have a small
[ crank organ without valves where the holes in the disc or the music
[ roll admit the wind directly to the pipes or flutes?"

Good morning Phillip, I am sure you will get several responses to your
question in this mornings MMD. Go to http://www.castlewoodorgans.com/
to see a modern and popular busker organ kit which has a direct path
between the paper roll and the pipes. I have built one of these kits
and enjoyed the experience of both building and using it.
