I agree with Nigel Perry. I often have enquiries, I pack items, weigh
them, get postage quotes in the local currency of the person asking,
then I get no reply. Large parcels may even take an hour to pack;
I do not charge for packing time or materials. I often do not even get
a 'No, thanks'.
I _always_ reply to other people even if it is to say something or the
shipping is too expensive.
Generally speaking we in UK laugh at the prices asked for by many
dealers in the USA, as they are double or more of the prices we get in
UK. I wonder if these higher prices are even achieved and whether the
customers are happy with what they get?
I like to think my customers are happy as they usually come back again.
I think many people do not do their 'research' before they buy, and
a lot of instruments never get restored but simply get 'hoarded'...
What do others think ?
