World's Smallest Self-Playing Pipe Organ
By Phillip Dami

Bonjour a toutes et a tous! (Sorry, last time I forgot the ladies!)

Thank you, Robbie, to re-ask the question about the Tomy toys mechanism.
And thank you indeed to rewrite my messages in better English.

Devon Hollingsworth and Tom DeLay understood what interests me: simple
mechanisms like Tomy musical mechanisms. I know it is not easy to take
pictures inside but I will be interested to have a more precise idea
of how that works.

Does someone know a self-playing small pipe organ (with bellows) where
the valves are replaced by the perforated strip paper or the perforated
disk? (Bon courage, Robbie.

[ C'est tres simple, Phillip: "No valves -- the holes in the disc
[ or the music roll admit the wind directly to the pipe."

For those who don't know Bernard Pin in Paris, here is his web site
address where we can see pictures of small birdcage mechanisms and
flute clock, etc.: http://www.bernard-pin.com/

To order the paper organ:

  Marcle Models,
  Turnagain, Finch Lane,
  Amersham, Bucks. HP7 9NE England.

Best regards,
Phillip Dami
