I've collected mechanical musical instruments for 48 years and between
1972 and 1986 I had about 400 player pianos and all kind of orchestrions.
My biggest orchestrion is now in the Mark Yaffee collection, it's the
Hupfeld Helios III-39. My Weber Otero is at Sanfilippo's Victoria
Palace and a Welte Cottage is in Bob Gilson's collection.
Because I'm now 62 years I closed my shop as a restorer and I want to
sell my private collection. It is 300 books and journals, 300 records,
120 videotapes of my restorations, a lot of interviews with Carl Frei,
Mr. Hans Popper, Mr. Imhof, Mr. Stegele, Mr. Fromm, Mr. Voigt and more.
20,000 photo negatives, hundreds of informations [catalogs] about
the German factories for player pianos, orchestrions, organs: Hupfeld,
Popper, Loesche, Weber, Welte, Blessing, Imhof & Mukle, Weisser,
Philipps, Frati, Glass and Sons, Bacigalupo and many more.
If you want a collection, please inform me. I want only 40,000 euros
for all.
Best wishes,
Werner Baus of Germany

P.S. I have also for sale my small Hupfeld Helios with keyboard,
restored and with 70 rolls and roll cabinet, only 75,000 euros,
and also my Schiedmeyer Hupfeld Tri-Phonola with 100 rolls and roll
cabinet. It plays wonderfully because it was restored in 640 hours.
Only 40,000 euros.
