Seek Player for 1918 Autopiano
By Ruth E. Helms

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

We have recently acquired an upright Autopiano made in 1918, serial
number 120207. Someone removed the player parts at some point. I read
that the parts were pretty much standard. The inside looks great, but
I am a novice, so have no expertise. I am mainly removing the paint
someone put on. They did a poor job; underneath the "oak" is dark
walnut stain. I have gotten down to the bare wood and it looks to
be mahogany.

I wish I could find parts so that it could be a player piano again.
Is that hopeless?

Thanks for any advice your can give.
