Happy 100th Birthday Welte-Mignon!
By Mark Reinhart

100 years ago today, on 21 May 1904, Edwin Welte and Karl Bockisch
filed the first of their applications for Welte-Mignon patents.

100 years ago today the Welte-Mignon began what would become the first
reproducing piano.

Congratulations to Edwin and Karl for giving us a device which would
bring so much joy and great music throughout these many, many years.
I look forward to the next century of the Welte-Mignon.
