MIDI-Controlled Harpsichord
By Bob Lang

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I just completed a second automatic harpsichord. It is a full sized,
57 key acoustic harpsichord that can be played manually or under MIDI
computer control. It has a "memory" that can be taught to play any
song when it is powered up. The electronics include two 16F877
controllers (one for each 25 notes) and a 32k external memory chip.
I have a new web site at
http://www2.netdoor.com/~rlang/harpsitron/harpsitron.htm which has
construction pictures and details. There is also an animation of the
automated harpsichord action. I would be interested in hearing from
anyone with similar system.
