One of the premiere musical collections in the United States, the
fabulous collection of the late George Theders of Cincinnati, Ohio,
will be offered at auction on Sunday, February 15, 2004, at 12 noon,
at the Sharonville Convention Center, 11355 Chester Road, Sharonville,
Ohio (a suburb of Cincinnati).
More than 100 musical boxes will be auctioned, including over 30 disc
music boxes, over 45 cylinder music boxes, three musical cuff boxes
and cuffs, 20 roller-type organs, hundreds of individual metal discs.
Other mechanical music instruments include a Limonaire fair organ,
Arburo dance organ, Bursens band organ and Wurlitzer 103 band organ.
Automata offered includes singing birds in cages, a Louis Vuitton
monkey, bear playing drum, Lambert Hookah smoker, rabbit in lettuce,
hand crank money, etc. Also offered will be over 40 clocks, over
25 antique phonographs, and many toys.
Preview viewings will be held on Saturday, February 14, from 2 PM to
8 PM, and on February 15, 9 AM to Noon. Color catalogs available for
