G'day all,  Dad has continued to make some positive progress in
the last week or so.  This continues to be a very slow process, and
sometimes we have to remember to compare him to how he was a week ago,
rather than a day ago, as on his not-so-good days it can be hard to
remember how much he has improved from a few weeks ago!

He was actually allowed to go home for a short trip yesterday.  Mum
took him for just a couple of hours at home, but it went smoothly
so that was great.  The doctor has said that he might be allowed to
go home on Monday, as long as they can get the balancing act of his
cocktail of drugs a bit steadier (they are still playing about a bit
with the combination of drugs).

So we are really hoping that all goes to plan in the next few days and
that he can come home, at least for a while.  It will be interesting
to see for how long Adam can remain on his best behaviour!

So, for the locals, _do_ phone the hospital before you think of
visiting as he might not be there!  And for the interstate and overseas
friends, please do send him messages via my email -- I will print them
out and take them into him.
