Hello all, This is from another list but since it is a player
I am hoping someone can find a home for it.
Thanks,

Holiday Greetings from Dallas ~!~
I am making one final plea to save a historically significant organ.
The North Texas Chapter has, for nearly a year, been aggressively
marketing a 1924 2/5 Robert-Morton residence organ with dual roll
players. The organ is in very good condition and is in storage in
the organ shop/warehouse of two members of the NTC. Space has become
a severe issue and the organ _must_ be sold.
If the organ is not sold by January 1, 2004, it will be parted out!
The organ consists of 8-4 Diapason, 16-4 Tibia Clausa, 8' Trumpet,
8-4' Salicional, 8-4' Vox Humana, Xylophone, Glock, Chimes, Marimba,
piano (vacuum), traps & toys, 5 HP Spencer blower 3-phase (phase
converter available w/ package). There are several boxes of rolls
in excellent condition.
The percussions, traps and toys are mounted in original factory swell
boxes. There are two sets of shutters decorated to match the console.
Pictures and more details are on the following web site:
http://hometown.aol.com/robertmorton24/index.html
The North Texas Chapter has lowered the asking price to $7,000 and will
provide packing and loading assistance to a buyer.
There is such a clamor made about saving and preserving organs and now
I'm going to sit back and see if there is _anyone_ that will step up to
the plate and get past the platitudes.
