Band Organs On LP "Authentic Carousel Music"
By Dan Robinson

I have a couple of cassette copies of old band organ LPs titled
"Authentic Carousel Music," produced by Major Records. They contain
Wurlitzer style 150 and 165 music.

The 150 music is definitely from a Wurlitzer 153 band organ, but I have
never known what band organ is playing the 165 music. Whatever it is,
I would say the organ is in less-than-perfect condition. Is it an
actual Wurlitzer 165, or perhaps a European organ converted to 165
rolls? Does anyone on MMD know, or have any other information about
these LPs?

Thanks,

Dan Robinson
