I recently acquired an original Red Welte Vorsetzer from Europe that
had the good fortune to have survived completely unrestored, and in
almost incredibly good condition. I mean, even the finish is
mirror-like on the mahogany panels of the case.
I will send along some pictures of the Vorsetzer in the near future,
but for now, my question is about the original 110 Volt DC motor: any
suggestions as to how to best feed power to that motor? Is a rectifier
sufficient? Please feel free to email MMD with any suggestions.
Thanks in advance, Randolph Herr
