Hi All, I'm trying to help a gentleman in Canada identify the player
action in his player piano. The piano was made by Wright Piano Co.
out of Strathroy, Canada. A few moments ago, I sent four pictures to
<editor@foxtail.com>. One of them is a close-up of the left side of
the tracker bar, which has a thin rectangular hole just to the right of
a round auto-sustain hole. The system uses four-hole tracking, but the
tracking mechanism is elevated on two flat steel arms. Attached to the
left reservoir is a box which appears to be some sort of an expression
device.
I get the feeling that the system might be either a Pleyela or an
Auto-Pleyela, but I'm just not certain.
Also, thanks to the efforts of Douglas Heffer, in France, I now have
a scant amount of technical information about the Pleyela and the
Auto-Pleyela. Unfortunately, all of the text is written in French and
I have as yet been unable to get it translated. All help would be
appreciated.
Musically,
