This organ, known as the "Madam Laura", from Paul Eakins' Gay 90s
Village Museum, Sikeston, MO, was originally a barrel operated
instrument, and now plays the standard 87-key Gavioli scale. This
conversion from barrel to book operation seems to have been carried
out many years ago probably, by a reputable workshop.
This early French fairground organ has 8 Bass notes, 10 Accompaniment
notes, 17 Clarinet notes, 17 Piccolo notes, 20 Saxophone notes; it is
missing 27 bottom pipes, 17 from the clarinet mixture, and 10 from
the Accompaniment. This organ has 206 pipes currently. It is not
operating at this time and will need a mechanical restoration. It has
three moving figures, two bell ringers and a bandmaster. The size of
this organ is 8' 11-3/4" high, 10' 6" wide, 46" deep. It has 41 books
of music. More can be made.
Price is reduced to $40,000, it is located in USA.
I, Bill Endlein, am selling this organ for a friend of mine who has
decided he will not have room for this organ in his home. If you need
