I have recently purchased a Foster and Co. cabinet grand piano and I am
now trying to find out anything I can about the company and the piano
itself.  The lady I purchased it from had no idea as to how old the
piano is but I have a feeling that it has been around for a while.
It used to be a player piano and she had had it for 17+ years and had
no idea why the previous owner disassembled the player.  I'm interested
in finding out the age of the piano.  I'm also wondering if it is worth
the cost to restore the player.

The serial number is 36347.  I read the articles by Andy Taylor in the
MMD Archives and found that my piano is an oval door player with the
double legs that Andy speaks of.  It is in beautiful condition and
I am more than excited now about finding out the year of manufacture
and its history, or the history of the company.  Any info you can
provide will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you again.
