Pinned Barrel for Faventia Instrument
By Stephen Kent Goodman

I have a pinned barrel of 5 inches diameter, 17-1/4" long. Its says
Faventia, with the number 42 on the label which has an Eagle emblem
above. Pictures can be sent to anyone who would like them via e-mail.

When this was originally purchased the owner claimed it was from a
maintenance building inside or around one of the merry-go-rounds at
Ilyitch's (spelling?) Park (now demolished) in Colorado.

The body is wrapped in what appears to be a gold-colored paper and one
of the ends has a plastic notched gear; the other end is wooden.

Can someone help shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance,
Stephen Kent Goodman
