Source of Perforated Card Book Music
By Nick Dean

Dear All, With regard to Rick Cooley's message searching for music
books, may I just remind everyone that music is no longer expensive
since the automation of our book cutting.

We can offer music for any scale organ that uses standard "Keyed"
and "Keyless" spacing, 3.48 to 3.5, plus Ruth Keyless spacing books.

As a rough guide, most non-automated companies who can produce good
quality books (not talking about amateur cutters) will be around 10 to
16 pounds sterling per metre for 84 to 89 keyed size, whereas with our
machinery, we offer top quality arrangements cut on card books for well
under 1/2 of that.

84-key Mortier should work out around 5.80 to 6.00 GBP per metre,
depending on width of card and scale layout.

Other larger scales, even like the huge 96-keyless Ruth 38er scales,
we can offer specially made arrangements, then punched in the proper
manner with chain perforated holes for as little as around 7.80 pounds
sterling per metre.

I think you'll find that pretty cheap in this day and age for a top
quality custom produced item that isn't available in many shops!

Yours sincerely,

Nick Dean - Dean Organs
