Paillard Tune Book for Interchangeable Music Box
By Rod Cornelius

I have a Paillard interchangeable music box where the cylinders have
slots in them that fit over a bar in the box. There were two sizes of
these boxes made in the 1880s and '90s. They were models No. 601 and
602. One is illustrated on page 46 of the Encyclopedia. I have three
cylinders but no tune sheets.

If this book of tune sheets is for these type of boxes, I would be very
interested in obtaining it, if it was for sale. If not, I would like to
prove the numbers of the cylinders I have so that I could identify the
tunes. What I do not know is if these boxes were called "Excelsior" by
Paillard.
