Wilcox & White Angelus Push-up Players
By Gregory Filardo

The standard variety Wilcox & White push-up player is the 58-note
model. I do have a model that uses the 65-note rolls and has a single
set of reeds. This was the last attempt of a nice idea, but people
did not regularly tune their pianos so these devices must have sounded
awful at a piano with strings below the organ reed pitch. You might
also check the Faust book on pianos, organs and players.
