Converting Video from PAL to NTSC
By Glenn Morris

Sometime ago, we ordered a classic film from the U.K., as it was the
only source in the world that we could find for a copy of an old film
on video. However, the format was PAL and not viewable on any VCR we
tried.

I called some local folks who duplicate VHS tapes as a business, and
they had a couple of PAL machines and did a beautiful job for us in
converting the format [from PAL to NTSC].

It seems the cost was somewhere around $12.00, but not more than
$15.00, well worth the effort and quality obtained.
