Once again a cry [*] goes up for B.A.B or Artizan rolls, this time
from Les Beebe for 46-key rolls. Ed Openshaw, Rumney, N.H., who has
the masters and the machine to run off B.A.B. rolls of various sizes,
has plans to put his equipment to use -- but the plans aren't very
immediate, it seems.
Perhaps it would help motivate Ed if he knew what the market was for
the various sizes of B.A.B. rolls: 46-key, 48-key, 61-key, 65/66-key
or 87-key.

[ * A 'whine' for rare music rolls seems more accurate. Collectors
[ talk about how they lust after something but few put up any money
[ where their mouth is. That's also why roll recutting projects
[ fail. Les and others have asked several times for music rolls,
[ with apparently no replies. Try offering money -- that will get
[ some attention! How much are you willing to pay for a 10-tune
[ B.A.B. roll? $20? $80? $300? Are you willing to produce a roll
[ recutting subscription project? Ask Don Teach about the success
[ and failure of such projects. -- Robbie
