American Band Organs in Europe
By Michael McNamara

Does anyone know if there are any American band organs in Europe?
I know that there are some American carousels in Europe (Disneyland
Paris has a Philadelphia Toboggan carousel) and I was wondering if they
use American band organs on the American carousels or on any other
carousel or park in Europe? Please e-mail me at <wurlitzer146@cs.com>

Thanks
Michael McNamara

[ In the old-town plaza of Maastricht, Netherlands (nearby Belgium
[ and Germany), circa 1990, I heard an early Wurlitzer Style 146
[ band organ playing adjacent to a newly painted platform "kiddy
[ ride". The organ looked and sounded very good; it apparently
[ was the pride of the elderly owner of the small traveling fair.
