The Peter Phillips Ampico Cassette System

When I was working in Edinburgh University in 1968, one of my
colleagues, Peter Bunemann, had a project to connect a computer to
a mechanical piano.  I don't know how far he got with it, but as this
was a computer-based department with an excellent engineering workshop,
he may have done something usable.

I haven't been in touch with him for many years, but he is around
somewhere.
