Hi Karen, Hope you enjoy visiting the Mechanical Music Digest. If you
go to the links page, at the Mechanical Music Digest web site, you will
find several sites which sell parts and player piano rolls, including
Ampico rolls.
I don't know anyone who does roll repairs for a business. It takes
a lot of time and effort to get the paper realigned, or replaced, holes
to be punched, bridges fixed etc., but I do sell a number of parts,
including the best tape for repairing rolls, end tabs, flanges, tubes,
etc. You may visit my web site where you will find repair parts listed:

I also give a copy of my roll repair guide free with the order of the
repair tape. It tells you how to fix your rolls and also how to adjust
your player piano so that it does not tear your rolls. Some people do
enjoy repairing rolls, but they usually do it for themselves. It is
something you have to have patience with, but it can be relaxing to
repair rolls, while listening to some music rolls on your Ampico, as
you are fixing them and then playing the results.
At my web site, I do sell rolls of every type, including Ampico rolls.
Periodically I have about three music roll auctions every year and
I have on every roll auction, since I started, at least 100 Ampico
rolls for sale. I am putting together my next roll auction now and
should be out sometime this month. If you would like to be notified of
it, I will be happy to add your email to my email list for my next roll
auction.
