Carousel Organ in Cape Cod Needs Restoration
By Mike Knudsen

I was recently informed of a small band organ, part of a carousel,
that is not playing and its owners might be interested in some advice
on getting it restored. It's a small cabinet organ with about 14
melody notes, in an operating carousel at the Heritage Museum Center
in Sandwich, Cape Cod, Mass.

Currently the carousel is running with CDs of real Wurlitzer band
organ music playing. If anyone would like to persuade the museum
to fix up the organ and offer advice or help, the contact person
is Glen Puree at (508) 888-3300 or -1222. The museum's web address
is heritageplantation.org.
