Using MIDster Punch To Make 88-note Piano Rolls
By Mark Williamson
I've just replaced the photocopier at work and have retained the dead
one with the hope of using some of the parts in it to build an 88-note
piano roll perforator.
I've read some good reports on Bob Essex's MIDster punch in the MMD
Archives but wonder if anyone has used this design to punch 88-note
piano rolls? Ideally, I guess, I'd like to build something with
interchangeable punch heads so that in the future I might be able to
punch different formats (with different sized holes) as I acquire other
instruments.
Thanks
