Raleigh Pullen Park Band Organ Is Too Loud
By Benjamin Haass

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Raleigh, NC. While we were
there, we visited Pullen Park downtown with a restored Dentzel carousel.
There was a beautifully restored Wurlitzer 125 on board that was not
playing. I asked the high school kids running the carousel to play it
but they insisted it was broken.

Later I found out from a elderly lady selling tickets that the organ
was not broken at all but just too loud to play. She said it scared
all the little kids. So, I think this problem might be fairly
widespread.
