"Morning, Noon & Night in Vienna" on "O" Roll
By Art Reblitz
In 1977 I arranged von Suppe's "Morning, Noon & Night in Vienna" for
an "O" roll. Mike Kitner punched it and sold the copies. It was my
75th roll. If I can find the master, and if there's enough demand,
I'm willing to have it recut by Tonnesens.
I've never seen an original "O" roll containing a single overture or
any other lengthy classical piece, but there are a few early 10-tune
rolls that include short tunes that could be called "salon music."
