Kit Adds Electric Vacuum Pump to Player Piano
By John Neiswinger

Greetings to all. I manufacture a kit to electrify player pianos.
I build these as a hobby and have sold over three dozen in the last
year or so, mainly from the Internet and eBay.

This a basic kit with a manual electronic volume adjustment. It comes
complete with everything you need. This unit is also compatible with
switches from Player Piano Company, etc., if in the future you would
want to fully automate your piano. It is well built and as quiet as
any others I have seen or installed from other sources over the years.

The motor I use is an American-made ball-bearing unit, built to last,
and at "full throttle" it can produce 60 inches of water vacuum. Dialed
down just "idling along" it produces just a couple of inches vacuum.
You can vary the amount by rotating the knob on the control box.

The kit comes with complete instructions that even the "mechanically
challenged" can use. Check it out at:

Thanks and keep posting!
